About Sahmaragon
This is my interpretation of Shahmaran, a mythical creature. The Shahmaran prophecy and its mythological symbolism represent a rich and complex cultural tradition passed down through generations in various parts of the Middle East and Central Asia. The story of this half-snake, half-human creature is a powerful symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and the unity of opposing forces. In my design, I combined the symbolism of the Asian Year of the Dragon with Shahmaran’s snake tail, transforming the snake into a dragon, merging two powerful mythologies into one unique piece.
